I've said it before, and I will say it again

Watch Friday Night Lights.

If you have DirecTV, it premieres TONIGHT at 9pm on the 101 channel.

If you don't have DirecTV, you are an idiot. However, there is still time to get it and then you can watch the re-air of the premiere on Friday night.

If you don't have DirecTV you will have to wait until January to watch new episodes. On NBC. A terrible channel that prematurely cancels shows, was up until very recently run by a hack, and has handed the network over to Jay Leno.

If you have never watched the show before you are an idiot. But that's okay. You can go out and get the first three seasons on DVD. Or on Hulu. And then you will cry and praise the Lord for this show becoming a part of your life.

If you have never watched the show before it doesn't even matter. You can turn on the TV tonight (again, if you have DirecTV), and you can watch it and you will know, within MOMENTS that what you are seeing on your television screen is a profound work of art that sometimes will bring you to tears, often bring you to uncontrollable laughter, and always leave you feeling seriously overjoyed.

And if you want to read my pleas for watching FNL from previous years, try here or here or here.
