"It's always fun to get away from camp. Even for an hour!"

I spent the 4th of July weekend in the lovely Napa Valley region, on a "girls and gays" trip to Sonoma for lots of wine tastings and Broadway sing-alongs. It was heavenly.

I hadn't left LA since April, and before that I guess it had been Christmas. As nice as it is to stay local on long weekends and relax, I forgot how incredibly refreshing it is to get out of town.

When we were in the cab on the way home from the airport yesterday I turned to my friends and remarked at how lovely it was to get away. DiTonto, of course, had the perfect response, in the form of a Wet Hot American Summer quote:
